In preparation for Book Week, one of the activities which has gotten the Tenby community to come together is the doorway decoration. The teachers made it very clear this year that the students would be the main decorator for their individual class's door and parents may only assist minimally. It took the teachers about a week to work with their individual classes in producing the pieces before finally putting them up on the door with yesterday being the deadline.
Judging was carried out early this week. We look forward to the result...Every class did really well.
Knowing how Year 2 parents can be so very keen to showcase our artistic side, Ms Anita curated the Dr Seuss concept for the hallway and parents chipped in with the detailed design and great things happen when the community comes together to work on it. Thanks to Kristy for leading the project, and all the talented mothers who produced the masterpieces. The theme for Year 2 is Dr Seuss.
