Compost Bin at Science Garden

Today, a simple compost bin was 'constructed' for the school cafeteria's kitchen wastes. Mesh is used to allow better aeration as well as visibility for the children to observe the decomposition layers.

Take your child for a stroll along the Science Garden to explore where the compost bin is.  While you are out there, have a look at the solar panel and figure out what is it used for.

What about joining the 'Earth Hour Awareness' event on 22nd March (Friday) at 2:40pm, taking place at the Science Garden? More info at http://www.tenby.edu.my/circular/sep/2013/Newsletter165.pdf
